Gayle received her Master of Science degree in Audiology from CSU Sacramento in 1992. Following completion of her Clinical Fellowship, she obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from The American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is fully licensed by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
Gayle specializes in adult hearing aid selection and fitting. She honed her skills as a Hearing Device Specialist at the California Ear Institute at Stanford. She returned to Sacramento in 1999 to get married and worked with otologist Stuart Gherini MD, taking over his practice upon his retirement in 2005.
Gayle periodically serves as a proctor on the Hearing Aid Dispenser examining committee for the state of California.
As a musician, Gayle is interested in preventing noise-induced hearing loss and enhancing the listening experience of others.
